At the age of 12, Shawn Elliot Russell fell in love with hip hop music. Over the years, he began to write his own songs and quickly fell in love with storytelling. After recording over 300 songs, and embarking on the process of becoming a hip hop artist, Shawn was diagnosed with several anxiety disorders. Shawn used his love of storytelling to show the struggles of dealing with anxiety and how he has been able to reclaim control over his mental health.
