Nason Rumfield
Nason Rumfield, 33, was born and raised in Harlingen, TX, and is the author of his debut novel, "Pie We Don't Deserve." He currently works as a Firefighter and Paramedic for the Brownsville, TX Fire Department. He is also an independent film-maker and plays bass for the band Until My End (untilmyend.webs.com).

David Norec
David Norec is a type 2 diabetic who wrote the interactive children's book, "The Adventures of Exo and Cy" after losing his brother and a sister to diabetes. Mr. Norec hopes to inspire children of all ages to eat right and exercise!

TEDx Speaker & Pushcart Prize nominee Daniel García Ordaz, a.k.a The Poet Mariachi, is the author of Cenzontle/Mockingbird (YA Edition): Songs of Empowerment & You Know What I'm Sayin'? He teaches at La Joya Early College H.S. García is available for author events: readings, Q & A, panels, & writing workshops.

Katelynn Rentería
Award-winning author Katelynn Rentería began her writing career when she published her novel, "The Other Side of the Law," when she was 16 years old. She currently gives presentations and workshops advocating literacy, motivating students, and teaching about creativity and mindfulness in writing. Rentería's credentials include an A.S in Biology, and a B.S of Psychology, summa cum laude.

Ana A. Cavazos
Retired Educator and Librarian Ana A. Cavazos, is the author of Through Fields to an Education: A Memoir. As an advocate for reading and writing, Ana A. Cavazos is available for presentations and workshops for students, from Pre-K to High School. She plans to use her latest book, Comic Strips and Cartooning to enhance writing in the classroom.
